I have an old ibm 300GL that I'm upgrading for a friend. It's the old socket 1 type p2 400. I have a p3 600 to install. I need jumper settings and a bios upgrade that will run the new processor. Any suggestions? Thanks |

if its a model MT6563 or newer just install the cpu, since the multiplier is locked on all P3 cpu's, the jumpers don't do much and the voltage change between a 400 P2 and a 600 P3 is handled by the VRM. |
