i need help. recently i installed a new radeon graphics card in my computer. soon after this it started restarting itself at random times, like while in windows as well as games. ive tried updating every driver possible, ran memtest86 to no avail, unplugged hardware thinking it was a power problem, and even formatted, but its still doing it. ive disabled automatic restart and it still wont go to a blue screen, just a straight restart. it only went to blue screen once with the error message irql not less or equal, and thats it. im pretty stupid with hardware and stuff so im totally stumped. any help would be greatly appreciated. |

irql not less than or equal is a driver issue. Since you are no longer getting the gratuitous BSOD I suggest looking at the error logs in XP if thats what you are using or get a beefier PSU and try that. |
