Features

As most retail diagnostic programs should include serial and parallel loop back plugs, AMIDiag is no exception, as they include the hardware.

A very nice feature that I would really like to stress to other diagnostic program manufacturers is the ability to download updates and patches directly and not have to hunt around on a website for them. See Figure 1.

The package also includes an in depth code manual as well as an easy to follow quick start guide for newbies. The release I received also had an addendum to the literature as well which I almost overlooked.

The ability to generate "trouble tickets" is a nice feature that generally may not be used by a home user but the tech in an office environment may find it very useful as opposed to deciphering someone's scribbled notes on post-it. See Figure 2.

A feature that I would have liked is a looping 'burn-in' packet for system builders. Hmmm, perhaps in a later to be released update packet?
